Episode 56: A Very NAUGHTY Christmas Episode

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the WI Crew.  Josh and Lance celebrate the season with a review of some wonderful products in the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book.  Anyone need a bluetooth speaker to listen to the show?  Have we got one for you!  

 

Advice this week comes from three, count em, three Reddit questions.  Question 1 involves a NAUGHTY question for dentists.  I mean, its just so NAUGHTY!  You are not going to want to miss how NAUGHTY this question is.  Are you tired of hearing the word NAUGHTY?  I thought so.  NAUGHTY.  There.  Done.  

 

Question 2 asks the eternal question…how much is it worth to you to NOT brush your teeth.  

 

Finally, we end on a question involving a NAUGHTY dentist who cheats at golf.  Peace on Earth, good will towards all the WI fans!!!!  Enjoy the Holidays, everybody!

Episode 54: Oral Related Kinks

Josh and Lance are back for another week of shenanigans.  After some high school music reminiscing, advice starts with a question from the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughn about a dental team member that don’t not speak good grammar there.  They just not ever be learned it good.  What to do? 

 

Our next question comes from a dental student who wants to know where their money is going.  Josh and Lance have some suggestions. 

 

Finally we end with a banger of a Reddit question that involves “oral related kinks” and the need to change underwear after a dental visit.  Wacky, wild stuff.

WI have a new year!  Year number 2 kicks off with more hilarity.  Ok, maybe "simple frivolity"....  Whatever.

Josh starts by sharing his love for webinars.  Lance GNFs.....

Episode 50: Inconclusive Morse Code

You down to clown?  WI are back!  Josh starts with a rant on "Ads Suck", but I forget why...

Question 1, Peter asks for the best way to bling a tooth with a diamond.  Staple gun is probably not an option.

Second question, Zach asks for the top 5 questions to ask during an interview.  Is casting couch still a thing?

Finally, reddit!  Are OTC oral appliances for sleep apnea just as good as the real thing?  You can probably guess Lance's reaction....

Episode 49: Casey Anthony Patient Education System

A very spooky post Halloween episode of Working Interferences starts out with a review of the best Starburst flavors.  News flash…lemon is the worst.  If you like Lemon Starburst, you are a serial killer.  

 

Advice starts this week with Kyle asking about letting patients watch TV during their treatment.  Neither Josh or Lance are fans.  

 

We move on to an unfortunate glasses scratchin’ event allegedly done by a temp hygienist.  What the hell are trifocals, anyway?  Josh breaks out his offensively stereotypical old Jewish lady voice….AGAIN.  

 

Reddit brings us a question about learning how to put braces on.  Somehow, the boys end up on the Yelp for condoms review site.  

Episode 48: Vaginal Desiccant Scrubs by JNCO

The WI Boyz are down to clown and so are you!  We start with some hot politics talk as Josh breaks down Beto O’Rourke’s platform.  A brief debate about Halloween candy versus Easter candy ensues, with little to no resolution. 

 

Advice starts with a question from Ahmad that just can’t be real.  What do you do when you are just TOO sexy?  Josh and Lance have answers. 

 

We move on to a question from Andrew about handpiece repairs. 

 

We end the show with a Reddit about finding the best dentist who is also an HMO provider.  God speed, dear Reddit user. 

Episode 47: Don't Travel With Staff

More WI! Josh opens with questions about travels to Africa and what it would take to get him to Tanzania (spoiler alert: 5 star hotels).  Lance's brother, Clint, is globetrotting, so there is a bit of envy....

First question is about RE hiring a staff member after they left for greener pastures that weren't actually greener.  Would YOU hire someone back after they stabbed you in the back?

#2 is about traveling with staff for CE or fun, especially if you plan to FIRE them....

Reddit! is about bleach getting onto dental floss and the extreme damage that can result (spoiler: not much).
